👋 Hello! I'm Argy, a Software Engineer based in London, UK. I enjoy building things that make a difference, whether it's creating software that millions of people use or improving my home with the latest smart home technology.
🎓 I hold an MSc in Software Engineering from the University of Southampton and a BEng in Computer Engineering from the Hellenic Mediterranean University. My academic background has given me a solid foundation in both the theoretical and practical aspects of software development.
💼 In my professional life, I work on high-scale systems that power streaming experiences for millions of users worldwide. I particularly enjoy working with Scala and building distributed systems that are both reliable and efficient. I also run an IT consultancy, Dianoia Ltd, with my wife Marilia.
🏡 Outside of work, I have a diverse range of interests that keep me engaged and inspired. I'm passionate about photography, capturing moments through my lens, and love exploring new places through travel. I'm also an avid cinephile who enjoys everything from blockbusters to indie films. Cycling through London is one of my favorite ways to stay active, and I'm a keen advocate for electric vehicles and sustainable technology. At home, I enjoy tinkering with smart home tech and DIY projects to create a comfortable, efficient living environment. I'm married to Marilia, and we share our home in London with two wonderful cats, Luna and Chloe, who keep us entertained and bring joy to our daily lives.
